The Lyra Decant is one of them.
Most decanters are placed on the table and forgotten. The Lyra Decant is placed on the table and noticed. Its U-shaped form rises in two arched necks from a single curved body, holding the wine in a wide, rounded base where it breathes slowly and fully. It is the kind of object guests reach for with their eyes before they reach for their glass.
Blown from lead-free crystal, the walls are thin enough to show the wine in full colour as it settles. The wide base maximises the surface area in contact with air, aerating the wine gradually as the evening unfolds. No rotation required. No mechanism to explain. Just the shape doing what it was designed to do.
